LED Diodes

Observe the functionality of the LED diodes.

Press the pushbutton P: the three LED diodes turn on because they are directly polarized. LED diodes have a protection resistor built-in in series. llevan en serie una resistencia de protección.

If the battery were to be inverted, none of the LEDs would turn on, since they would be polarized inversely.

We use 1 battery holder, 4 minikits, and 5 connection cables.

SELECTION OF CIRCUITS

This circuit integrates 2 LEDs and a motor in parallel, and a lightbulb in series. With the two-way switch, the LED changes, but the motor and lightbulb are always in functionality.

When we press the switch, the motor, lightbulb, and one of the LEDs are activated.

If we change the position of the two-way switch, one of the LEDs turns off and the other turns on.

AEROGENERATOR

This circuit generates electric energy thanks to the action of the wind, that is to say, a wind generator, or an aerogenerator.

Check the polarity of the motor with a multimeter and identify the positive and negative terminals to correctly connect the circuit.

If you blow on the propeller, electricity is generated, and the LED connected to the terminals of the motor turns on.

The LED requires 2 V to turn on. The battery provides 1,5 V. The rest of the voltage required to turn it on is obtained thanks to the action of the wind that we generate on the aerogenerator.
